Hey, look at me. I am coming to this party and I am using the front door this time. I took my boots off, don't want to track mud into Cindy's gorgeous home.........I also brought goodies! For those of you who have no idea what I am talking about, every Tuesday is Mothermark's Teapot Tuesday. Check it out. We have such fun.
I see Cindy has the tents out, must be planning an all nighter. This is going to be so much fun, camping out and waiting for the birdies to show up. As you can see, they are missing on this card. Guess it was too early for them .......or maybe I didn't read the bird part. lol Sorry.
Anyway, I stamped my house, added a handle. Stamped the trees, tents, boots, sun and clouds. Colored with copic markers. Drew the mountains, after all Cindy does live in Colorado. The grass, ground and sky were colored with prisma pencils and gamsol.
I brought Cindy a gift. It is the plaque on the top of the door. Hope she likes it. Well ladies, I think I might take a little nap. This is my second party of the day. Before coming here I had lunch with my 83 year old Aunt who is visiting from Coalinga, CA. My cousin, who I haven't seen in awhile, arranged the whole thing. So much fun in one day!
Hope you like my little mountain scene here............TFL :0)

Gee whiz you make every card a masterpiece. I love the mountians and Cindy's personalized door sign. I think the rowdy tea party attendees need to stay in the tent. I did remind Joan that there are no potties in this house. She may want to hold off on her diet coke as the outhouse is outback in the mountains... Great job Cathy. Love it.. hope your relative visiting was fun..

Hee! What a fun little house you put me in today! And the tents? Perfect for an over-nighter! The birdies are hanging in the tents right now cuz they heard there was rowdy teapartiers on their heels!
I love my new sign! I was thinking about getting one since the tea partiers get confused which door is the front and which is the back! Its a lovely addition to the teaparty!
Your cards are always so detailed! I love them and I love how this one is personalized with the Colorado mountains, the sign. Its a perfect little teapot house!
Thanks so much for coming and for brining this wonderful little card. And for providing us a tent or two to hide the tea partiers in case the game warden is on our trail!
Thanks for coming....and for the fun story and the link! You rock! Hi Sis!

Outstanding card, Cathy! Absolutely love the scene you created with the stamping and drawing! Phenomenal coloring and details! Love the plaque over the door - Cindy can keep this and put it out for all the parties! Super creative take on the teapot, for sure!

So what did you reckon the little red thing on the handle was? What a wonderful conversion of a house into a teapot, with the perfect plaque for the door. I like camping - happy to give it a try so long as those bears Cindy mentions stay away. Those berries in the bushes look as if they might be a bit of a bear atttaction. Love the little greenery sprigs growing along the path.
