I made this card last night, but waited until this morning to photograph it so I could TRY and capture the bling on it. I was inspired by this cushion.....
....and these shoes - which I must add at this point belong to my 11 year old DD - she informed us about 4 years ago that she was a 'Shoe Girl'...and she is - these shoes are a result of a shopping trip with Dad...I thought they went out for milk!?!
This image and sentiment came in a RAK from my SCS Friend and Twisted Sister Helen (misshelanstamps) and I thought it was perfect for this IC...thank you Helen...it is also for a birthday card for my friend - who is the Shoe Queen!
I chalked the image and sponged the edges, using my scalloped border punch for the corners (I love them) I added the CB Die (a BRAK from the House of Smethers) and flowers, lace and BLING, I used Kindy Glitz - these shoes just had to have bling!!!

Okay - now that I've gotten a bit of my stupidity out - I must say that the card is gorgeous ,and I love the fancy lace - or doily that you used! Lovely classy work Linda!!

Linda: I'll say it again, your work is getting better and better every time I look at it. You are evolving so quickly!! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this card. I love every element you put into this card. The pp, the beautiful flowers, bling, more bling and then some bling, the sponging the lace border. It is an incredible card my friend - very impressed!!!! TFS!

Gee, how lovely is the sentiment. I'll be sure to use it next time I want a new pair! LOL I love your card too, you know, but that sentiment just is one fine reason to get more shoes. Fun inspiration.
