Stef sent us to Grandin Road this morning for our inspiration. As we have been having, totally contrary to the forecast for rain, rain and more rain, lovely sunny summery weather, I went straight to the garden section, and ended up using these Petal Ribbed Outdoor Planters as my inspiration.
I used a Fiskars texture plate (Lines) and some terracotta card for the base, and then sponged it a bit. The main image is Penny Black, stamped with black StazOn onto some light tan card, and then coloured with watercolour pencils, and a few hints of Stickles added. I added a quick sentiment from Lots of Thoughts in the bottom corner. Some hemp tied round and a couple of Primas with a pearl brad finished it off. I tried all sorts of everything in the top left corner - stamped butterflies, punched butterflies, assorted hardware, brads...but anything I tried made the card look top-heavy on that side because of the Primas - so I left it. It's still I card I'd be happy to send anybody, so at the end of the day that's what matters.
Thanks, Stef. Maybe after I get some real gardening done I'll have time for a longer wander round the inspiration site...

Beautiful card, Sabrina! I love the color and texture of the background and the beautiful image! The twine and little flowers are a nice touch! You captured the pots perfectly!
