I was inspired by Markie's Mom for this one. I remember a story she told about Speedy the Cat and a snorkel. Well, I just couldn't get that image out of my head until now........details.......
I took a pattern from one of my tole painting books, scanned and resized it, colored with prisma pencils and gamsol, versa marked and clear ep. Cut all images out.
Cut out my panels with my new hexagon coluzzle. Stamped edges with various Mutnik stamps.
Sentiment was computer generated. Bg is misc. dp. Drew and colored the snorkel and mask popping it up on Speedy here.
Sponged and doodled the edges of a white card then put all panels on popping up the sentiment.
Faith, I hope you like this! How about you? Let me know.............TFL :0)

Cathy, this is a hoot!! I love your little Speedy cat with his snorkel. Love the little mousie. He is thinking that this crazy cat has finally lost his mind.
How absolutely adorable!! Wow, your coloring is so fab, I thought that kitty had fuzzy fur (as in flocking). Love the images and your personal Mutnik stamps work perfectly with them. TFS

WOW!!!!!!! You were able to illustrate Faith's adorable story about speedy the cat. I think you should hook up and do children's books. Faith and you have a million stories and you can come up with any image you want! I see a new career for both of you in this card. Super job, sis!!!
hugs

What a card, Nutmeg and it's a NCC, too. Using your own personal implements makes it all that much more beuatiful. Your creativity is a bit overwhelming to me: You have such a talent from taking a vision to paper. This card is in a class all by itself! what a wonderful thought to create a card from one of Faith's illustrious stories. Fantastic!

I LOVE this cat. I can't believe you got it from a book and were able to recreate this image. Such a great job. I think he is one sly cat. Love his snorkles. Great image, great dp, great coloring. Just all around greatly....
