This card is for the 'His Holy Name' Challenge where we are studying the names of God on a fortnightly basis. This time it is Creator...the scripture I have chosen is Psalm 145v9.
I love how it speaks of the Creators love for His creation, which is us! So often people comment on how many religions there are and how do we know that Christianity is the ONLY one...I love it that Christianity is not a religion but about realtionship....every other religion is man's search for God, but with Christianity God reached down to man - it shows the intimacy of our God the Creator of Heaven and earth....who showers compassion on us!
i have used sponged the edges of all layers, including the computer generated scripture...adding flowers and MS branches which came in a RAK from Suleika (aka Roxystamper) along with a flourish. The final touches are the sponged bird and butterfly, which came in a RAK from Lesley (aka Marleygo)...I love these cards being a communal gesture!
Thank you for taking the time to look at my card, your comments are always so encouraging!!

I'm currently working on my "Creator" scrapbook page and I happened to see your card in the gallery. How very beautiful it is ... but even more beautiful, and true, is your description of our magnificent Creator and His desire to have a personal relationship with us, His creation! He is, indeed, my very closest and dearest Friend and from your description I can tell He is yours, too!

Linda~ I am so moved by your addition of this card. And the words you chose to describe this precious relationship that really touched me. I put this into favs for that alone. How true, and spoken with love, like a dear daughter and friend.
There is nothing you could change to make this a better card either. Each inch of it is perfect- an inspired creation I'm sure. Thanks for sharing this beauty x2!
