I wanted to try inking the texture plate. This is what I came up with. (it's also the project that I'm in charge of tonight at our SU meeting.) The ink tends to blotch a little, so not sure how I'm going to fix that. In the meantime, I'm quite pleased with this background. More info? The blog: http://stampingstation.blogspot.com/...thers-day.html. TFL! Oh, and I'd love to hear from you if you have a way to make the color more even on the texture plates.

Very pretty card. The only thing I can think of about the inking is that I use a paper that is a bit more absorbent and also brayer my ink onto the EF. Let me know if it makes a difference. Have fun tonight. I'm sure everyone will love this!

This is so pretty, Julie!! I love this idea and now I am ready to take the plunge and ink up my plates. I was nervous about that before but now see I have nothing to fear
