| | This is a very small box. The closed box measurements are: 1.75" square by just under 3" tall.
I used amber gemstone accents and gold hollographic mounts to give the 'fiery' illusion.
The stamping technique for the background is one of my favourites:
1) I started with a light green background and stamped my first fern in VersaMark clear & embossed with clear embossing powder.
2) I then inked over the whole thing with VersaColor Fresh Green and gently cleaned the ink off the clear embossing.
3) I then stamped the fern in VersColor Green Tea (no embossing this time)
4) After the ink had dried I stamped the fern one more time using VersaColor Evergreen (again no embossing).
5) When dry I finished by inking over the whole thing in VersaColor Bamboo & a small amount of Evergreen. Cleaning ink off the embossed fern.
It's my favourite technique bercause the result is very three dimensional.
Thanks for looking
