I put this in the Origami Box category because there isn't one for an Explosion Box. They both are origami so hope that is okay. Loretta (lorettal) did a stamp camp where she taught us how to make these. Thanks Loretta! There is a lot of work goes into one of these but they are so beautiful. I haven't quite finished the inside so no photo yet.
I used Bazzil cardstock and Basic Grey Eva dp. The sides of the lid are 2 layers of dp, sugar coated brads in the corners and a scroll made with the Cricut and centered on top of dp. The scroll was brushed with Sequin Distress stickles. The sides of the box I used 2 different patterns of dp which are cut on a diagonal and glued on because I wanted to be able to see the embossed cs. The medallions were cut out on the Cricut, glued in the center of each side. The top is made with bravo burgundy ribbon, 7 layers of bravo burgundy and pretty in pink petals cut with the Cricut. The burgundy petals are brushed with Sequin Distress stickles and the pink petals are brushed with fruit punch stickles.
I love this box and so enjoyed making it. Hope you like it. tfl

You did an amazing job!! This is so pretty. Not that it matters really, but I think the ribbon is the purely pomegranate satin ribbon that was in one of the minis. Good on ya for using yours!! I got one spool of that and the chocolate and can't hardly bring bring myself to use it. But I do take the spools out once in awhile and look at em and pet on em!! lol
