Faith, I am just tickled pink that you chose to honor Vicky as the Featured Stamper today. Her gallery is full of fun, innovative, and heartfelt cards. It's my great pleasure to case this beauty. I kept the layout, scallop circle, and narrow panel; changed the orientation, used different stamps, and colors. I hope you like it, Vicky!
This is also my entry to HHN09, Sovereign. It's not too late to join us in a study of the names of the Lord. I used Basic Grey's Perhaps paper and embossed the butterlfies with sea foam and clear embossing powder. I also dry embossed the left edge with the Allegro Cuttlebug folder. This qualifies for Julia's Ways to Use It Pattern Pizzazz. The scriptures are photoshopped onto Making Memories journaling notes. The word sovereign was stamped onto K &Co Margo paper, inked in ColorBox dragonfly black and embossed with clear. This font is from Ma Vincis' Reliquary... it is call playful heart. I added vintage German black lace foil along the top of the green panel. Both papers are scored so that I can lift them up for journaling. The ticket is from Tim Holtz Idea-ology. I wrote the lyrics to a praise song from the late '90's called "Spirit of the Sovereign Lord. I placed a LISTEN token to hold the ticket and the scalloped page in place. The velvet ric-rac is from Making Memories. The key is another from the K&CO assortment. I stamped shalom (A Muse) in TH di frayed burlap. I added the date on the left side with Crafty Secrets calendar clear stamps. The little flowers at the bottom are from an old Sarah Lugg die cut. Down the left side I stamped a music score from Oxford Impressions in Adirondack latte ink. It was then dry embossed.
Thanks so much for looking and the gift of your comments is appreciated. Come visit me at my cyber home
love you Vicky!!! (((((hugs)))))

Oh, Susan, you KNOW I love all your cards. You always add so much attention to detail and your cards are always made with a purpose in mind! I love the scripture theme - the 'notebook' look, the charm, the ticket is like an invitation to listen! And, the key - well, that has to be the key to heaven! You rock, GF! Thanks for playing!
