I love making mosaics. I've made lots of these in the past, but not for a while. Thanks, Lynn for reminding me about this technique. It's also a great way for me to use scraps from other projects.
For my mosaics, I tend to use big pieces of sticker paper to stick down my pieces. All of the pieces on this one, are scraps I cut into pieces. By themselves, they weren't that impressive but they look a lot better when used in this mosaic.
After they were all stuck down, I placed the release paper back on top and brayered over to make sure all the pieces were truly stuck. Then I coated it w/ black ep and repeated the release paper cover and brayering. Then I heat embossed it. Sometimes the ep won't completely cover all the tiny spaces, and if that happens, I take a black Galaxy or Permopague marker and go over the embossed lines.
I added an embossed and slightly colored sentiment attached it to black glossy c/s w/ eyelets and then to white c/s and finally the card front w/ foam tape. TFL. and here is a link for the Mosaic Tutorial
