My submission for Twilight Tuesday Inspiration Challenge #13- Supporting Characters. More information can be found at http://twilighttuesday.com/.
Because every great story needs an antagonist (or many antagonsists), I chose the Volturi as my inspiration for this challenge. I am really excited about this challenge, because IÂ’ve actually been hoping the Volturi would be one of the challenges so I could use this image! They represent tradition and strength and intimidation and deception. I donÂ’t dislike the Volturi but I donÂ’t really like them either.
My main image is Volterra (well really it is Firenze, but close enough!), I wanted to give the final product a foreboding feeling so I used muted colors on the image and heavily shaded the Venetian paper as well as distressed the edges of all but the card base.
Thanks for looking!

Mau, this is AWESOME. What a great job you did -- it is so like the images I had in mind of Volterra while reading. You did such a great job creating a distressed, aged, old-world European feel on this card. Thank you so much for sharing!

this is wonderful! I've been wanting to choose the Volturi for one of the TTIC themes! I've been there - I'd recognize the Ponte Vecchio almost anywhere :-)
