The Wish-RAK Group is having a New Year Card Round Up - Cards for the Troops this holiday weekend. Here's my card for MindyYoung's Get Well/Thank You Challenge #15. I'll keep this card, however, in my personal stash since we're not allowed to add fibers or other embellishments that could fall off and interfere with a service member's recovery. Our challenge was to use Ruby Red, Barely Banana and Not Quite Navy. Thanks to bottomphish for the Striped Lighthouse image by Lockhart Stamp Co.
I colored the image with my Blender Pen and Barely Banana, Ruby Red, Not Quite Navy, Sahara Sand, Going Gray and More Mustard ink pads. The lines in the sand are highlighted with a Star Dust Gel Pen. This panel is layered onto Ruby Red cs. (The Ruby Red layer was first stamped with Aida Cloth Background in Ruby Red.) I stamped the sentiment in Not Quite Navy and added the Hodgepodge piece and Rope Twine. It's adhered to the card with Dimensionals. The Not Quite Navy cs layer was crimped and adhered to the Barely Banana cardstock.

Oh, how I love lighthouses and your coloring on this one is terrific. And I love, love the rope accent- very clever!
