Thanks for the early post, Allie and a great challenge! I had hoped to combine this with the HCE05 and had used a creative element to make my word. Daven had issued a challenge to use a photo in your card. So I 'made' my boys pose for my card and then had to ask them again as one is so tall, I couldn't get them both to fit in my frame! Oh JOY!!! One of them was not happy to smile again...betcha can't tell which one!!!
I photoshopped my image and used a sepia tone to compliment the wonderful clip art frame found in Memories of a Lifetime Christmas. I printed on Neenah smooth cream and then cut away the inside of the frame until I had it large enough to use with my pic. The card base is Brazzill one of the brown linens from the Christmas pack. The sentiment is a strip tease (Cosmo Cricket) which is cut in two. The first half is bordered with vintage red velvet and the other is where I got creative with my word and used an old fashioned pocket watch (image from Invoke Arts) for the word TIME. This was tucked into the edge of the frame. I added a snippet of velvet on the bottom and a Heidi Swapp red chipboard heart on the left side with CHRISTMAS EVE 2008 written on it with a Sakura puff pen.
How do you think I did? Come on a play in the Holiday Challenge Extravaganza...they are alot of fun! I hope Santa brought all you had on your list...it will be fun to see
everyone's new toys!

What a pair of cuties you have Susan!! Gosh - I'll try to get my two cuties in a picture tommorow - but as they are 18 and 24 - they are not cooperative!! I might be able to get a photo of my younger son with his girlfriend - she is a good influence on him picture wise.. but there is just no telling when you have BOYS!! OR MEN!!!!
Fabulous photo - and I love how you have found time to create a wonderful card for the challenge ... personally, we have been snowed in for the past few days, and I've been on the case of finding the surface of my dining room table and moving stuff into my RUBBAH ROOM -and I think I am just......... about there! So - maybe we can use the dining room table over the holidays!!!

I love how creative you were w/ this. Your handsome boys both look like the didn't care that you had to take another photo. The time piece fits the challenge so well.
Have wonderful Christmas Day!
