I got some gift cards to Michaels for my birthday and was recently there (WITHOUT KIDS!) to shop for myself (YEAH!). They have all these cubes there that are for storage - you can actually get a bunch of them and make a desk out of them as they stack and come with a flat piece that can be a "desk" on the top. These cubes were $30 - but as luck would have it, all these storage items were 40% off this week - so I got this for $18.
It took me 5-10 minutes and my husbands power drill to screw in 8 screws and slide the shelves in.
What's fun is you can use this either this way - or flip it 90 degrees and use the long thin shelves for scrapbooks or whatever.
If money were no object (which of course it IS), I would buy a zillion of these - create a wonderful desk space for me and use these all over my house for kids rooms, library, etc. One can always dream, right????
TFL - I wanted to share in case others out there are looking for storage ideas like I ALWAYS am!!!!

It's so funny that you post these today, because I'm heading out to Craft Warehouse (in Gresham, Oregon) tomorrow night for their Holiday Open House. They carry these, too, and I plan on picking some up at 40% off.

I love these! We are building a new house and I have been "collecting" these for my craft room. I think I have about 8 so far. I am hoping to have at least 12.
