oh dear, the party's over...what a blast I had in the Cabaret this weekend...lights up now...time to go. Thanks Jimmi for your Moulin Rouge challenge. I have fond memories of visiting there on a grand tour of Europe when I was 16. Have a look at my card that celebrates the spirit of the city of lights!
I could have fiddled with this one for hours, but I legally complied with the 45 minute time frame. My card used the SU french script bg inked in Nick Bantocks chrome yellow on white GP cs. I stamped the Prima Marketing Effiel in VersaMark and embossed in Metallic Bronze. My Parisian beauty is clip art from a marvelous book, Vintage Labels from a Lady's Dressing Room. I mounted it on SU's in color Pacific Poiint. The other bits and pieces are directly stamped to the base with various Tim Holtz distress inks. The base is SU purely pomagrante.
Thanks for looking and I appreciate your comments!

This is a beauty, Susan. I was sadly unable to participate in VSN this weekend and today is the upload deadline. Boo Hoo! I hope you had fun. I will take a look at your other gorgeous creations.

Fabulous card Susan, you know I am partial to vintage....great idea with the clip art too! This card is put together beautifully and I love the blue you have used with the scalloped circle! Thanks for sharing!

If and when I make it to Paris, I will be just beside myself. It's a lifelong dream for me to visit Europe, but mostly Paris is calling me ever since I can remember.
This is beautiful Susan, what a gem of a card. All the intricate details are lovely. I'm admiring everything you added to this card, and then you say it took you 45 minutes to create. Let me get off the ground now!
As we french Canadians or french Parisians would say:Tout simplement magnifique Susan! BRAVO ET ENCORE ENCORE!

Oh this background you've created is fabulous. There is so much depth~ I love the color combo too. That yellow and burg. are great together. I also love the blue scallop around the main image~ it really pops.
