I have made this card for a friend whose family has endured the hardest circumstances and after catching up with her at Church today I felt very moved by their story and wanted to encourage her and her husband and let them know they are not alone.
I wanted to make a card that was feminine, yet rustic as well, so opted for the flourishes, flowers and pearls and kept away from pinks, using the olive green and browns. I am very happy with the finished product and especially happy to have used the pearl buckles that I bought ages ago when they were on sale and have never used, they worked well on this card...
The scripture was typed on the computer and is perfect...I hope that it conveys the love that it was made with - I am so grateful for this wonderful craft, which enables us to make a card or something similar to help express what words cannot! Thank you so much for looking, I do appreciate the comments and encouragement that comes with the comments!!!
