First of all, let me say that this card took me forever! This is a birthday card for my sister Monica who has a big birthday on Friday. Pat Smethers was kind enough (as always) to stamp this image for me during her lunch hour! She also gave me other treats as well.
I love this shimmer on the cake (one of Pat's ideas) . I still can't decide where the bow looks best. <> So, will probably consult w/ my mentor, Pat tomorrow. LOL!

Hello Virg! Anybody clever enough to have Pat as their mentor, and wonderful enough to do so much for Chemo Angels is a friend of mine! What a gorgeous card! I think that is the best staging of a photo I've seen too! I hope we see lots more of you! Be on the look out for Pat's alter ego, Flirt the Sweet Brat!

How precious is that!! Your sister is going to love getting this card! In my opinion, you don't need to ask anyone where to put the bow, where it is is perfect! You gave me a great idea how to us the CuttleBug! Your photo presentation is astounding, so glam! Now, lets talk about the influence that Sista Pat can have on you. I myself am not a PINK person and I would advise you to NOT let Sista Pat lead you astray into the land of PINK. Try Purple if you need to use a color that starts with a P. Or even my favorite, Periwinkle. Plaid is not bad and another color that starts with P. Break free my friend and explore the land of anti-pink. OK, enough of the soap box. Love your card. I am sure Pat has told you how we share images. If you think I have some images that you want copies of, just let me know and they are in the mail.

I'd say the bow is perfect, but you better check with your mentor, they can be very sensitive sometimes. LOL Just kidding.
I love it Virg. you did soooo good, the setting of this card, the pink feathers, ooh la la, this is some gorgeous card. The love is pouring out, can't wait to see the next one you make.
Congratulations on opening your own private gallery! Welcome to the world of cardmaking craze! LOL
