Got this idea of the punched out monkey from Sheryl on VCRocks. Then I used it and put him on a corner bookmark instead. I used this as my "shoebox swap" at our QM. The corner bookmark piece is 4x4 and scored at 2 on 3 sides. Another piece is used 2x4 on the back to cover it and allow the pages to fit into the corner of a book.
Cute, isn't he? What do you think?
Supplies used:
1 3/8Β circle punch (1 in chocolate chip)
1 ΒΌΒ circle punch (1 in caramel)
1 ΒΎΒ circle punch (1 in garden green)
Small oval punch (2 in caramel)
Large oval punch (1 in chocolate chip)
BoHo punch (2 cut in half for hands and feet, using caramel)
Word window punch (2 in chocolate chip)
5-petal flower punch (5 in garden green)
ΒΌΒ circle punch (3 in caramel; 2 in black)
Β½Β circle punch (2 in white; 2 in chocolate chip)
1Β circle punch (1 in so saffron Β cut out banana)
Chocolate chip grosgrain
So saffron bookmark is 4x4 Β score at 2Β at top to 2Β on 2 sides
Back of bookmark was cut 2x4 on chocolate chip or garden green.
Score at 1Β at top and 2Β on 2 sides, and cut.
Scissors needed to cut banana, and the 5-petal flowers.
Chocolate Chip marker used to draw mouth, and the dots for the nose.
