Before the instructions I just wanted to add. I had to use UID Pat Paper here because I do not have any current SU Christmas PP so I substituted with that, but if you use SU DSP this is totally demonstratable! :-) It was super fun, quick, and easy to make I think! :-)
I made these ornaments today using Patterned Paper, Card Stock, and the Scallop Circle Punch from SU.
I have a full Tutorial, Different view pictures, and detailed photo's of how to make these Ornaments on my Blog at:
I took the Scallop Circle Punch and punched out pieces then I folded triangles in the middle of the circle at the 5 scallop mark on two sides and the 4 scallop mark on one side of the circle. More instructions and pictures of how to do this on my blog as well. The small one uses 8 punches, the medium one uses 10 punches and the large one uses 20 punches all from the Scallop Circle punch.
I was inspired by the new SU Holiday Mini there are Ornament kits you can buy in there where they took circles with triangle folds in them and they make a Holiday Ball. I decided to use the Scallop Circle punch and add some flair and cut the cost way down to make my own version of those ornaments.
I hope you enjoy the Tutorial and Photo's these are super fun, and super fast to make!
I used the snail adhesive to put 2 of them together and glue dots on the 3rd just to see which worked best. They both work well, but I think the snail was faster.
If you have any questions you can PM or e-mail me and I will be happy to help you make your own great Ornaments, they would be great for Gifts!
Have a Great Day!
