 | | This is for a 'new' friend (we just started working together) who's bday was last week. She is very organized and likes to make lists so this 1/3 sized note pad was a perfect idea for her. It took me until this weekend to have the time to make her something. I used a modified Scallop Edge Medallion since the Monogram was long and narrow. I thought the soft sky oval punch split behind it made a good contrast to the choc chip medallion, then it just begged for some brads ((I could hear it.)). The ribbon behind is mounted on a strip of cs so I didn't have to wrap it around the entire note pad. I finished it with some of my precious flowers and pearls and added the white border at the top and bottom. Then it seemed unbalanced so in went the three brads at the bottom.
Hope she likes it! Hmm... better make her a pen to go with it now. |
