Happy September! I've had this idea for caramel apple cards in my head for some time now. Then I got the new Oriental Trading mag. and saw a kit similar to the idea in my head. I was so inspired by it, I couldn't wait another day--and since it's officially September, it seems to fit my mood just right. I drew this 2 pc. pattern--it has a small hole in the top center of each apple, so the sticks will fit nicely. I sponged around all pieces, then I added stickles to 2 of them, but I think I like the non-sparkly green caramel apple better. Embellished with raffia tied greeting and done. TFL and just send me a PM if you want my pattern (final card is about 3" wide x 2 3/4" tall)

Friends are like the walls of a house. Sometimes they hold you up, sometimes you lean on them. But sometimes, it's enough to know they're just standing by.
