This is the first time I used flocking! I bought about 8 different colors quite a while ago and they sat on the shelf until this challenge came along. One tip to remember - turn the fan OFF .
I used the chipboard packing that the Big Shot dies came with and used the Bird with Leaves and Flowers die to cut out the bird and swirls. I rummaged through my scraps pile and found this paper - I think it's from DCWV. I spread a rather thick layer of mono-multi glue around the bird (except for the beak) and dipped it into the flocking and tapped off the excess. I used a marker to create the bird's eye. The swirls were sponged with pretty in pink ink and Sparkles liquid glitter was added afterward. It went together pretty quickly - I really enjoyed playing with the flock and am not intimidated with it any more - thanks for the challenge and for taking a look at my card!

Wow, you did a great job with the flocking! I thought it was fabric. I love your card. Thanks so much for playing!
