Today I’m thinking about friendships and how priceless a true friend is and the moments that make that relationship priceless. Since IÂ’m running low on twine and only had enough black to make it a focal point on a card I dug out the yellow so the black could really make a statement. The coordinating vellum and paper are several years old but are still beautiful to me. The card base is textured with the leaves embossed while the smooth vellum is accented with glittery petals on the flowers. I started to add more layers but I love the rough look of the twine against the delicate flowers so I let it speak for itself. This time less WAS moreÂ…

This is really pretty, but I love your post describing your friend even more. Friends are indeed a blessing and I believe your friend will adore this card. I love the glittery vellum and you can't go wrong with yellow.......tis my favorite. Beautiful Kelly!
