 | | I made this for today's colour challenge, Blush Blossom, Close to Cocoa and Ruby Red....
I just picked up my "On the Fly" stamp set and wanted to play with it...
I stamped the fisherman image on whisper white and water coloured. I coloured the pants with vintage sepia and chocolate chip. the jacket was coloured with ruby red, then I drew lines in with chocolate chip and white gel pen to give him a plaid jacket (we call the "Harewood dinner jacket". coloured the hat in ruby red and the skin with blush blossom. Versa marked fisherman image and then clear embossed. Stamped the trees from Noble deer to the left side and another set of trees from On the fly. Brayered soft sky over the top section, then brayered on not quite navy on the top and bottom, then sponged to soften the lines. Coloured the trees with old olive. drew a few more wave lines, then high lighted with white gel pen. Stamped the fish on whisper white with stazon jet black, coloured with creamy caramel, darkened the fins with chocolate chip, gave him a stripe with ruby red and cut out. Popped him up on dimensionals. Matted with blush, ruby and close to cocoa. Added the brads and sentiment embellishment. For the Fish line I used some metallic thread. Main card is Close to cocoa, next is ruby, then blush blossom. I stamped the blush blossom with the canvas stamp using ruby red ink. All edges are distressed. Sewed around the edge.
