I finally got around to play in today's CC, which by the way, I really liked this color combo! The lighting in my craft room is really funny today, I had too much shadowing on the card...tried the best I could to enhance and lighten...hope you can make everything out OK.
I got some new CB Embossing folders last week and decided to break them out today. On the card base I used the largest scallop Nestie and cut out an off- centered oval. Then I took one of the Just My Type embossing borders (the berry one) and embossed the right edge of the card base.
Next I cut a piece of Old Olive, used the new Leafy Branch folder, inking the negative side, and embossed that piece. I attached it behind the cut out oval.
Then I stamped the bird from the Touch of Nature set and colored that in using the Watercolor Crayons with the SU blender pens. I used Crystal Effects on the bird's belly (not sure if you can see it though). Used DD's and popped the bird up on the Leafy Branch panel. Finished of with the "Best Wishes" sentiment.
Have great evening and TSMFL!
