Down in New Mexico,
I heard a great tale.
From someone's Mom at a local yard sale,
While looking for WWW, for someone we know,
She told me this story before I could go.
It was about a girl with a passion for dots,
Little ones, big ones, she just wanted lots.
She collected and traded,
Sought for and bought, so many of those dots.
How many does one person need ?
Apparently quite a lot.
So now she is grown but still has this passion
It seems that dots will never be out of fashion.
So to prove that what she told me was true,
she gave me a picture for all to view.
MM you know I don't mean to offend
But I always hope to be your friend!!

You are amazing with your poems!! I double dawg dare the dot lady to come up with a verse like yours!! I know she's the story teller - but to do it with poems - oh my Bubba!! Fabulous story - now we know all about Mothermark's past... so that is how the dots all started! Thanks for that info!!

Now this is just way too cute. I had no idea this is how MM collected all her dots. This is bound to give her a good laugh. I love the poem, that is so hilarious. You did a wonderful job on this cute card, love that scallop that you put along the side, the way you did your ribbon and ofcourse, all the dots. You have become quite the accomplished card maker. Who would have ever thunk that Buckle Man would have been making his own scallops? I have to tell you, I am quite impressed.

I don't know what you do for a living, but I think you've found another niche in your life: a cardmakin', poetry recitin', buckle-makin', charmin' the ladies man!!! This card is precious and so perfect for our polkadot lottie, Mothermark. I use to read these comic books as a kid. Thanks for the trip down memory lane!
