Did you enjoy bedtime stories as a child? Perhaps you're a fan of The Brothers Grimm or Hans Christian Andersen. This week let's revisit some of those tales. Make a card inspired by fairy tales. Use a special story or character or just be inspired in general by fairy tales. Some of those books had the best illustrations. Take a nostalgic trip back to your childhood!
When uploading your project, remember to use the keyword WT918 so we can see your creation in the gallery. It also helps if you link your project on the Ways to Use It thread, too.
If you're not sure how to add a link, here's how: 1. Open 2 windows or tabs: one for your card in the gallery, and one for this thread 2. In this thread, click on reply and type anything you want to show before the link. 3. Go to your card window. Highlight the address for your card. (It says www. splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showphoto..... and so on) 4. Click EDIT. Click COPY 5. Go back to this thread. Click PASTE.
I preferred Andersen to Grimm, at least some of his stories were not quite so dark. As soon as I saw your challenge I thought of this stamp from Darcie's. Now I'm thinking I should have gone Hansel and Gretel - I could have made a gingerbread house and knocked another Christmas card out. WT918 Into the Woods by Cook22 at Splitcoaststampers
I think I could come up with a trillion ideas for this challenge! I chose to start by burning up a coupe of ideas from an unused Paper Pumpkin I’d been sitting on.
Thanks so much for giving the kid in me a chance to play with this challenge!
Blessings,
Chrissy
