Lisa here your hostess for this weeks Ways to Use It challenge.
There is something about adding distressing to cards that adds a look and feel perfect for a quick addition yet no added expense. Today's challenge add some distressing to your cards. I can't wait to see how you add it to your cards.
1. Open 2 windows or tabs: one for your card in the gallery, and one for this thread 2. In this thread, click on reply and type anything you want to show before the link. 3. Go to your card window. Highlight the address for your card. (It says www. splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showphoto..... and so on) 4. Click EDIT. Click COPY 5. Go back to this thread. Click PASTE.
We have wonderful cards this week from the very amazing team.
Loved this challenge Lisa. Here is my card. Happy day

I ended up with two, since I stamped the ship on request from DH last week, and then he didn't like what he thought it would work for!
WT843 Ahoy
Darn it - yesterday I was able to get two links to show without them having the same text.
I thought I was doing exactly the same thing.
Nope, can't get the same trick working today - I'll post in a second post.
Thanks for the challenge Lisa! For my card I used this cool tulip themed panel, adding my own purple hand drawn tulip as it was an "oops" panel from a stamping friend and had a stem with no tulip at the top. Did a rough sketched watercolor border, and distressed my lilac and aqua strips, adding a curled element. Finished with a hand lettered sentiment. here's Three tulips

I'm playing my "Challenge Catch-up" cardmaking. This is an anniversary card for my youngest daughter and her husband. I'm using ink-edge distressing to give the card a little more vintage look.
