Hello friends...Cathy here with my new Ways to Use It Challenge for the month of March.
It's okay to get a little sentimental...so, today we are going to focus on the sentiment. Use a large sentiment as the focal point for your card or project. Your sentiment can be stamped or a die cut, but must be the focus of your card...NO other stamped images. You may use patterned papers, stencils or inked backgrounds...just keep it simple with no other stamped images.
Remember to use the keyword WT835 when uploading your project so we can see your creation in the gallery. Then, link your project here in this thread so we can be sure to comment on your fabulous projects!
A big thank you to Lisa, Jayne and Sabrina for their wonderful "Sentimental" samples.

I saw a card like this on the gallery the other day and did not save it (shame on me), but did want to try it out. My stamping on the label is crooked - kind of like my head!

I'm not sure this fits the challenge as I didn't read it carefully enough till I came back just now to link up. I read "large sentiment" but didn't register the part about the sentiment being the focal point. I might come back with another card, but meanwhile here's this one:
Here’s my card for the challenge....after I finished the card I re-read the deets for the challenge and discovered that I flubbed, big time!
Sentiment -focal point. Got it! No additional stamping allowed!!! What? I missed that part...sigh.
So my card is an epic fail, based on the parameters of the challenge because I used a stamped image in the background. After spending hours making the card, I will upload it, regardless of this infraction. The Stamp Challenge Police are likely on their way to my house..
Great challenge Cathy- I'm challenged at CAS, so this was a creative stretch! Did a gradient effect with my watercolor pencils to represent a tropical sunset. Added my stamped sentiment, and drew a dashed sentiment box. Added adhesive gems. Here's Extraordinary
