Hello friends...Cathy here with another Ways to Use It Challenge, "Take Out the Kraft"
I love the look of white embossing and/or coloring on Kraft card stock. Your challenge is to use Kraft card stock on your card. If you do not have any Kraft card stock, try cutting a panel from a brown paper bag.
My sample: Noel Snowflakes A big thank you to Lisa, Sabrina and Carla for taking out their Kraft and creating some gorgeous samples for your inspiration.
If you're not sure how to add a link, here's how: 1. Open 2 windows or tabs: one for your card in the gallery, and one for this thread 2. In this thread, click on reply and type anything you want to show before the link. 3. Go to your card window. Highlight the address for your card. (It says www. splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showphoto..... and so on) 4. Click EDIT. Click COPY 5. Go back to this thread. Click PASTE
Great challenge, thanks! I had in mind fall leaves- added a kraft cardstock background, a punched tag topper with a rough twine bow, and some stickers. My fussy cut stamped shapes are from SU's wonderfall. Here's fall leaves

I gave this challenge a go with stamps won from DTGD : ) The cardstock is a bit rough and textured, so was interesting embossing on it, but I enjoyed it and the challenge!
Nice reminder to use kraft. I started out wanting to make a Thanksgiving card. Didn't like where it was going for a card but decided it would be perfect for a scrapbook layout with Thanksgiving pictures I'll be taking soon.
