Happy Thursday and welcome to this week's Ways to Use it challenge. I really enjoy basing my challenges on fun, unusual holidays. Well, today is Hug an Australian Day. A day to show our great appreciation for all the love and support the Aussies have given us over the years! I couldn't resist a chance to to honor our friends down under. I have a few options for you.
~ Australian inspired themes and images
~ CASE one of our Australian SCS artists
~ Use one of our Australian SCS artists' techniques
**If You're one of our Australian artists, you can make anything you want!!!
Below are links to SCS tutorials by some of our Australian friends
When you've finished your creation, upload your card with the keywordWT685 and then come back and share a link here - that makes it easy for people to find your card. It's especially appreciated by the hostesses!!
If you're not sure how to add a link, here's how:
1. Open 2 windows or tabs: one for your card in the gallery, and one for this thread.
2. In this thread, click on reply and type anything you want to show before the link.
3. Go to your card window. Highlight the address for your card. (It says www. splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showphoto..... and so on)
4. Click EDIT. Click COPY
5. Go back to this thread. Click PASTE. Here's the link for our WT685gallery.Take a look and spread some love around by leaving comments for your fellow crafters!
Thank you to our talented team members Lisa and Sabrina, for the fabulous samples.
What a fun challenge Miss Carla. I have a stash of craft goodies with me on our camping holiday, but nothing that will stretch to your terrific challenge. I'm looking forward to seeing all the fun creations. Big squishy Aussie hugs to everyone. xx

I was inspired by the Cherry Trees on Puget Sound card- I switched out the ornate fencing with a blue gray patterned washi tape border, and the cherry blossoms for roses. Here's Rose Trio

Here's my card for the challenge Unforgettable You and I'm hugging Sue aka Sue28 and Susie aka susie australia, oh and myself because I'm Australian too.
I also love Kathy aka Wattle's work and follow her blog and Edna aka Edna15 although they haven't posted since last year.
I have chosen to CASE one of Jayne's cards...aka OZPOM. I chose her card: Snowflake Sparkle, because of its stars, turquoise and silver colors, and Christmas theme. I kept the Christmas theme, changed the colors a bit by leaving out white and adding an additional lighter shade of turquoise. I focused on stars only...no snowflakes, and I changed the layout completely.
