Lisa here as your hostess for this weeks WTUI challenge.
One of the best ways I can help out a friend is to give them a good laugh. I laugh a lot and love to infect my giggling on many and love to see them smile. So when I create cards I do like to occasionally add a funny to them especially if a friend or family member needs something to brighten their day. Today's challenge, Give your cards a laugh, use humor on them. I want to see your funnies!!!
If you're not sure how to add a link, here's how:
1. Open 2 windows or tabs: one for your card in the gallery, and one for this thread
2. In this thread, click on reply and type anything you want to show before the link.
3. Go to your card window. Highlight the address for your card. (It says www. splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showphoto..... and so on)
4. Click EDIT. Click COPY
5. Go back to this thread. Click PASTE.

Well, I will think on this through the night and try to get back early tomorrow. I sort of have a couple of ideas of stamps but no particular designs. See you all tomorrow.

Lisa- great challenge, thanks! A little humor can brighten someone's day- I should know- I am recovering from the flu and this made ME feel better! Here's my card, made for a wonderful family I visited on my trip to CA who made me feel so welcome- used my 2 "new to me" gecko stamps from JRL Design- and added some bling and a fabric tie. Went with a slightly mellower card for my second one- did a birch tree dry embossed background- adding some scallops in my border and picture frame- finishing with a gathered fabric embellie. Here's Leafing You Thanks

Fun challenge, Lisa! Here is my card (I must say that Emerson is one of my favorite stamp artists; I love the humor he injects into his "Listen Honey" stamps!)
I was able to finish this up while my DS's birthday cake was baking, but my card is not for him. I made this birthday card for a friend who loves humorous cards.
Ok, It is almost midnight here. I'll pay for it tomorrow! I went ahead and did all of my comments. I started looking at all the cards you all made, and they were so good I couldn't stop myself!
