Ok, I know this is "cheating" because I already had it in my gallery, but this is one of the first times I actually DID use some of my hoarded stash of hardware.
Here is the only piece of HH I have used from my collection. Is there a program which you have to join to allow you to readily PRY the Hodgie from your hand. I have such a hard time parting with it!
God FORBID I use it in a demo! I know I should! This is a frame I made for KERI! (NOT KERRI!)....
I put the word love (stamped from noteworthy) in the frame (small oval).
Well I don't have HH, mainly because I even hoard the packages of "cheap" hardware! So, this is a good challenge for me. I dug out my "spare parts' from HL that have been waiting patiently for me to OPEN them:

OK, here's the deal....I am posting something that has long resided in my gallery, but if I made a new card, I would actually have to use some MORE of my HH, right? What? That's not the point? Oh. Maybe tonight I will get up the gumption to use another piece (but not send it out! No!) and share it with everyone. Thanks to everyone who posted, as it is really enjoyable to see what you all do with the HH!
Here is mine. I love hardware so I already had this one in my gallery. I use hardwear for cards, and scrapbooking and I even used one of the clips for my son's cape on his Halloween costume. It made a perfect cape pin.
I was hoarding a lot, of have all three sets and have not used even one piece. Here is my first card using the hodge podge. I hope the picture is there, I just uploaded it a few minutes ago. AndyJoe's Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
I really meant for this card to be in the challenge, not the first card I placed. I like this better than the eyelets, which are not from the hodge podge set. Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
I've combined this challenge with two others that I was doing. I really couldn't come up with anything "different" for my HP...but I LOVE to use it!! Thanks Julia!
I was finally able to get to this challenge today. This was so much fun. I needed an excuse to use some hardware. I do not have Hodgepodge, but I do have some hardware I hadn't really used. Thanks for the shove.

I saw this challenge and admit I am guilty of a bit of hoarding! Not because it is expensive ('cause it's not really) but because I am limited to how many pieces of each there are....argh! I really like the 'touch' it adds! denycesheets's Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
Enjoy!
I am definately a Hoarder of my hardware... I used 5 pieces *gasp* of hardware on the front of my mom's tin for her birthday...(I thought she was worth it... )
I actually did it! It's not HHardware but it's metal stuff that I hoard like it's my last crumb of bread. I decided to do a faux HHardware look with it. Hope someone likes it: Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
Okay, so I know this challenge was a couple of weeks ago...but I thought it was ironic that I posted my "No Hodgepodge Hording" card today. I actually used 3 pieces plus a brad! Here is a link:
I've posted on here before with "fake" Hodgepodge Hardware, well...(drum roll)... I finally broke down and ordered the real thing! I decided to use it right away so I won't be a hoarder. This card is dedicated to the beautiful March surroundings here on the east coast: Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
[QUOTE=lacyquilter]Oh, yeah! Hoarder here, too! I'm not sure why that is, except I think because the whole kit is a high-priced item, these seem like an expensive item to use on cards and I only want to put them on special ones. That is, in fact, not true. (in US value) If you figure the brads are worth about $4.00 for 100, then the other pieces of hardware are approximately $.17 each, less than a piece of card stock.
Another reason I know that I don't use them a lot is that I teach a weekly class of 15 or more senior ladies, who usually will do 2 of each card, so I just don't have enough hardware in 1 style to go around (about 8 each in the box).
For those of you who don't own the hardware, a soda can pop top tab can be substituted.
Hate to confess in an open forum...but I too have the Horditis Epidemic. I told my upline that I didn't want to use hardware on anything someone form my workshops would see, because then they would want me to use it with them and like you said there isn't enough of one style to go arounds. She told me she hands the box around and lets everyone pick out a piece to use.
But I still can't bring myself to share.....how terrible is that?!
