I finally found some time to try faux stitching! Unfortunatly I needed the card for a sad event.
As for faux stitching, I love it but I really need to investigate better tools to do so. My finger is sore from poking with a needle!

Default Really late, but....!

Last year I got a new sewing machine, and this year I finally used it on cards. I see this challenge is from 2005 - oh my! - but I'm just now getting around to trying sewing on cards. It was SO easy on my new machine for what I wanted, and now I think I might be hooked! Can't wait to try the new sewing-themed stamps and sweet 30's paper I ordered from the Occasions ('11) catalog, too!
