WT378 - Return of the Banner (06/07/12)
Hello and Happy Thursday!
Today I want to focus on ways to use BANNERS . These are so much fun and seem to be quite trendy. I see wide banners, thin banners, short banners and long banners. There are a number of dies available to cut these babies out, but my favorite method involves a square punch. I cut my strip of paper to size, trace my right angle and then punch it out with my square punch. Easy-peasy and my sentiment always fits just right!
Now, it's your turn to fly the flag. Let's see those banners !
I have attached my sample below for your viewing pleasure
Remember to use the keyword, WT378 , when uploading your card so we can all see your creation. It helps if you link it up back here too. You can view the entire gallery for this challenge HERE .
Need help linking a card? Follow these instructions!
1. Open 2 windows: One window for your card and one for this thread.
2. In this thread, click on reply and type anything you want to show before the link.
3. Got to your card window. Highlight the address for your card. (It says www. splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showphoto..... and so on)
4. Click EDIT. Click COPY
5. Go back to this thread. Click PASTE.

Toni, your challenge gave me the push I needed to make a card for a male friend. Banners are a great way of incorporating a sentiment.

I love banners! Thanks for the challenge, Toni! I opted to use a multi layer banner die instead of a sentiment flag. Here's my
