Bev, if I'm understanding this correctly, Zentangles is a form of doodling?
Yes, it is a form of doodling--but the real *tanglers* say it is more than just doodles! However, I just mess around with it and don't mind calling it doodling.
Just a note, Bev. Somehow I missed the link to the video, muddled my way through this and posted my card. Just NOW I found the video. HA! Now, I have a much better idea of how to start this without a stamped image. These are really fascinating. Maybe another addiction- ahem- past time for me. Thanks.
I think that all the cards that have been posted are simply amazing. I tried this once before but wasn't happy with the outcome; think I'll give it a try again and see how it goes.

When I first read the challenge today...I thought 'uh...this seems crazy & complicated, I think I'll skip it'. But then when saw all the great submissions...I thought..'well maybe I should atleast try...' and I am SO GLAD I did. I had so much fun. Here is my card: Zentastic Zentangle Flowers
Thanks for such a fun and different and challenging challenge!
Wow! I got so excited by this challenge, I went to zentangle.com and ordered a kit for myself! It came really quickly, and I'm already having fun with strings and tangles - thanks for introducing me to this really great way to fill hours at airports, just soaking up sun and breezes this summer. I may even get around to making a card!
This is such a fun challenge. I can see where it could become addictive! One of the VSN challenges was to use or do something new, so I finally got around to trying the Zentangle technique as my something new. We needed to add some green for the VSN, so I cheated a little on this challenge. I see more Zentangles in my future...
