I know I should use markers more....I just forget that I have them! I need more practice shading. I used Bic Mark Its (alcohol markers) to color this adorable little girl on the beach:

Most of the markers I used were Prismacolors, but I did use one Copic. Here's my card --

I kept checking for the challenge to be posted this morning, then it dawned on me it's only Thursday, I was waiting for the Limited Supplies Challenge! I guess I really want the weekend to get here.
I have no Copics or Prismacolor markers, so I had to use Sharpie and Bic markers and I really need a lot more practice with them:

There is definitely a learning curve to these things;). This is a feeble attempt and I was kinda stuck at my mom's with very few supplies to finish the card, but finish it I did! I still think it's kinda cute and the image came out really cool with the copics:
Surprise!
Surprise! upclose
Thanks so much for looking!

Thanks, Julia, I had fun with this challenge. Not so much fun trying to get a photo that would show off my blossom :( . I experimented with using Sharpies for the background, too

Julia, Thanks for the fun challenge. I am copic challenged. No other alcohol markers either. I ended up using the markers that I had at home. Crayola makers. I was pleased with what I was able to do with even my cheap markers. Check it out:

This was my very first Ways to Use it Challenge... I have to say... I LOVE my Copics. I have colored everything and anything with them... except my super detailed Kinkade image... Let's face it, I was terrified to even attempt it! But... the gorgeous card here by BC Sherrie inspired me and gave me the kick in the butt I needed... and so.... I did it!!! I did a Kinkade with my Copics! I still have a ways to go with those detailed images, but the challenge was fun!
Here is my card!

Hobby Lobby has them 30% off this week. I just bought ten for $41.83. Took me 30 minutes to decide which colors to get. Sob - I want'em all.

I need to practice a bit more with them, although I've had my Copics for a while now I haven't used them as often as I would like!
Here's a card I made yesterday using them .

Here's my first pitiful little try at Copic-ing (is that a word?) Of course it is, I'm from Texas, anything can be a word here. Hope y'all like it. I took the liberty of keeping it VERY simple.

WT179 Building a Snowman
Here is my combined challenges of WT179 and LSC181:
Building a Snowman
I combined the two challenges since I am a couple of days behind on challenges. I left yesterday morning for the beach and am finally getting everything unpacked so that I can STAMP!!
I do not own Copics (and probably never will due to the cost) so I used watercolor pencils and a blender pen on my image. I embossed the dp with my CB Divine Swirls ef. Added sheer ribbon, which says "Let it Snow" in navy but it doesn't show up in the picture.
Now I just have to find something for the inspiration challenge for today and I'll be caught up, lol.
tfl and I always appreciate comments!

Not sure if it is too late to play, but found some time today and here is my Copic challenge scene

I LOVE Copics, they are the only thing I use to color now.
