Here's my cards for the bird challenge! These are also the only 2 stamps in my entire collection that have birds in them; guess I need to buy more stamps!lol
On a Rainy Day, Play in the Puddles
Yet another one from me - I told you I could have spent all last Thursday doing these, LOL.
I didn't quite play in the puddles, but I did decide to dress for the weather and walk to the shops and post-box although it's so wet I very nearly drove.
I'm just getting into these great challenges and noticed this one. I just completed this card the other day for the husband of a dear friend of mine who recently passed away.
I am not a fan of birds in general and only have a few stamps with birds on and most of them are Penny Black's ducks and chickens! i used my new stamp from high Hopes for this one.
I keep keep finding little cling stamps that are separated from their set, so I decided to decorate a tin for these orphaned stamps. I used Basic Grey's Bark for the chirping bird image, and Memory Keeper's Peep for the larger bird. As I had some leftover metallic circles from the holidays, I made a pop art style "flowering plant" in the lower corner. I had to use this snippet of blue metallic ribbon as it's so pretty! Here's my Singing Birds Tin
