Wow! There are some wonderful cards made with rick rack! I remember my mom used to sew for me when I was a kid and I could guarentee she would somehow incorporate rick rack (70's child!)
Here's mine:

Well, here is my humble attempt with rick rack........I just couldn't think what to do with it! It must be a childhood block........"don't play with pointy objects you'll poke an eye out".........or something like that! Thanks for looking!

Well, this is definitely NOT like the ric-rac I remember using as a child. The only stuff I have bought is lovely velvet
If I get time I want to make a flower card using it for a stem, but here's my wintery offering in the meantime.
Thanks for a real fun challenge.

I didn't have any rick rack ribbon, so I ran out to Hobby Lobby. (Any excuse to hit a craft store, right?) I came home with WAY more than just rick rack ribbon!

What an interesting challenge. I was almost undone by the ric-rack thing, but I finally found some. Here's my

I did this this morning, after a long break for camping, but I had to deliver it to the recipient before I got time to post. It's nice to be home with all my stamping stuff again.

I made the flip-flop refrigerator magnet to look like a Birkenstock sandal and used the ric-rac on the strap along with a ribbon slide from Maya Road. See what you think! tfl
