This card was already in the works when I saw this challenge--so I added faux stitching as a finishing touch.

I also added stitching to a card I had planned. Have also wanted to try the stitching from TLC142 so I hope it counts!

Before I fell asleep from all the triptophan in that turkey, I wanted to make a card for the stitching challenge. I chose Faux Stitching rather than real stitching. Here's my card ~

Well, this was a real challenge for me! and the sewing machine part wasn't even the hard part (LOL!). I got this stiches stamp a bit ago and never can seem to place it correctly. Today, I tried numerous times and then ended up just stamping it and then cutting the paper down to the edge of the faux stitching. What's the trick?
Anyway, I combined this with the Jan mini 5 'totally tubular' using lipstick shades of color.
Thanks for looking!

Here's my try at this. My actual sewing machine is not working (sigh) and I have one of those little craft ones that I got on sale when a local stamp store was going out of business, but I'm chicken to try it, especially with all the not encouraging comments I hear about them. I might have to give in and drag it out this week. This might be the push I need. But in the meantime here is a faux stitched card. The stitching seemed a natural addition to this card with it's neutral color theme and slightly country feel.

I combined today's limited challenge with the stitch challenge. This is so good for me b/c I have stitch rub-ons that I bearly use......so this challenge was ideal for me as we all know old rub-ons do not work very well.
Thanks for the challenge, Julia!!!!!
