I've been using acetate all week (how do you always know these things, Julia?!) so I wanted to try some techniques/styles I hadn't tried yet. Settled on Smackin' Acetate and a Shaker Card.

Today's challenge to use transparencies. I stamped Merci on acetate in Close to Cocoa and punched it out with the small oval punch. I then attached it onto the larger oval punch, using brads. --Thanks Julia cool challenge.

Is Heartfelt one of the sets to get the boot??? Is it retiring???? I really like using it, I find it easy to do. --But on an up note, I'm looking forward to all the new sets that must be coming in the new Carry. I can't wait

I did a twist on the Pearly Window technique, using white Staz-on and black cardstock, instead of black Staz-on and a lighter neutral CS. Here's the results:

Ugh... I really hate this card! I thought about this challenge all day, commented on everyone's cards all day while I was at work, and was so anxious to get home tonight and work on the ideas I had all day and nothing worked. So I resorted to this, and really hate it but would feel worse if I had given up. I'm on a roll lately, trying to do the challenges every day and I didn't want to let this one go by.
