First Challenge - Not so sure about this!
So, I did it - but it didn't turn out quite how I wanted it! Anyways...you gotta start somewhere, right?!

I've never used sandpaper! Asked DH where he kept it and he asked me which grade I wanted ( he's just started turning pens so has tons of the stuff!) Anyway, I don't know if I sanded the right amount but it was fun. The flash makes the card look a little more orange than it really is. Set is borrowed from my upline so I could "try before I buy". I think it's just what I need for all those masculine cards.
Thanks for looking.

Too literal?
I may have taken this challenge too literally! I used sandpaper as an embellishment.
I also sanded various parts of the card.
I think it may have ended up too monochromatic.
Abrasive Masculine Thank You

This was tough for me. I sanded everything on this card...the DP, the card front, the brads...it's OK but not like I saw it in my head.

I combined two challenges. I used the packaging that light bulbs come in and sanded over the top of it. Here it is!

I had to play around with the
sanding block . This time I sanded the background before doing direct to paper. I love the way the ink gives a grainy look. Combined the sanding with faux chipboard challenge

Finally.....my WT98 sandpaper card. It was perfect for the chipboard I wanted to use and sanded the edges of the DP too. Enjoy, Nancy

My friend loves the grunge look so I made this birthday card for her. Wrinkling the paper helped give more area to sand.

I am looking for the instructions for the pen pot. I love it and would like to make it for teacher appreciation day. I found the pot but can not figure how to get the paper to fit around the pot. I found it on stampinwinkyfingers. Any one with ideas I would appreciate hearing.
