WCW194 Beginner pine tree island February 14th, 2024

Hello & Happy Wednesday everyone. This week I am sharing a simple video from Julia Lis Art that does a simple pine tree covered island ( so there is a reflection into the water) I just loved the image of the finished painting and thought ok, I am ready for something besides Hearts. *gasp* I know right? My mil is an Heart collector so, I have over the years picked up a bunch of them to do things for her.

It's so good to be back and able to participate!

I really did try to do just an island, but couldn't reconcile it in my head, so I put it on a lake. I did my sky not realizing how it would impact the trees and reflections, so that got a lot muddy. I really enjoyed trying it, though! Thank you Stacy for a great challenge! Added birds for the first time ever, too!
