WCW192 01/31/2024 Watercolor Winter Season Painting
Hello Crafters, winter is definitely with us and I thought we would do a winter season painting. It really is easy as you just need to paint a sky, some snow, and an animal. The artist used a rabbit but I chose to use a bear. Use any animal you would like.
The tutorial is called Watercolor Winter Season Painting and is by Prema Watercolor.

Thanks for the challenge, Brenda. I like how she did the sky. Little late tonight went to a girls' basketball game, and it went into overtime. Our team won. Here is my card. WCW192 Brrr! by Holstein at Splitcoaststampers

So, I didn't have those colors and I tried it with what I had, the others hit the bin and finally caved and decided to just make a sky and shadow-y snow foreground. added in a cut with scissors bunny. Arrgh Thanks Brenda, here is a trial from me. WCW192 Winter Bunny by JBgreendawn at Splitcoaststampers
That was a fun challenge, Brenda! I rarely try to draw animals or paint them, except birds, and changed up the bunny a bit, but I loved the mottled sky the water drops gave me, which I enhanced with a little white splatter. Tried to do some whiskers and fur effects, not sure it turned out, but this was definitely a fun exercise!
Here's my cards, not as found with the softer lines with the technique. Did it that way with the first card but added darker blue lines in the other two paintings.
