Default WCW028 12/09/2020 Winter Foliage

Hello, Linda here this week with the Watercolor Wednesday challenge. We are going to be doing some winter foliage. I'm sure some of you have all your Christmas cards made and addressed ready to be sent. This video shows how to paint winter foliage that would make beautiful winter cards, not just Christmas. She touches on a number of skills like mixing colors and how to let the brush work for you. After practicing her method, I made a reference sheet which will come in handy. Here is the video

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C-kb...ByIgFZvKTkNLF8

Using your watercolors and brushes make a card with winter foliage. Have fun. If you have any questions our team will try to answer them for you. We are all learning together.

This is such a great challenge, Linda. I did get the chance to watch the tutorial and it's so good.  I hope I have the chance to pop in but this is Finals week. I've been so busy this semester with my class my SCS challenges are taking a back seat and I miss it so much. But I am stalking all the fabulous cards.

Ohhhhh, what a nice find, Linda!
I'll look forward to some quiet time to just enjoy the tutorial at my more relaxed 'turtle' pace quickly after Christmas.  ;)   This looks like a winner to enjoy!

Used this tutorial for a Falliday Fest card, and bumping it up because it's a good tutorial for the holiday season. Here is the card I made.
