Hello and welcome to this week's Watercolor Wednesday Challenge! This week we are going to visit the tutorials right here at SCS for our instruction! Dina is going to teach us how to Negative Watercolor.
In the Negative Watercolor Gallery Dina shows several samples. Make sure and take a look because one of her samples shows a single flower which might help if you don't have a stamp with lots of close images together. I found this a little challenging but worth the extra attempts! I hope you have a fun and I can't wait to see what you create!
I don't think the link is working to the video but just click the Negative Watercolor Link above and it will take you to the tutorial and you can view the video from there! https://youtu.be/Vvg5b7JOTq0
Remember to use the keyword WCW016 when you are uploading. It's helpful if you come back and leave a link on this thread, especially in case you made a typo and people may not find your card.
If you're not sure how to link your card on the thread here, here's how:
1. Open 2 windows or tabs: one window for your card and one for this thread. 2. In this thread, click on reply and type anything you want to show before the link. 3. Go to your card window. Highlight the address for your card. (It says www. splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showphoto..... and so on) 4. Click EDIT. Click COPY 5. Go back to this thread. Click PASTE.

I finished both cards for this challenge I did one in yellow and the other in purple. It was difficult since I did not have the same type stamp as the video.
I have a card almost finished. Love the technique but since it involves a visioning layers, I need a lot more practice!!!!
Thanks, Angie!

Slow in getting here this week. THANK YOU Angie (ohmypaper!) for a FUN CHALLENGE & THANK YOU to Dina for the video too! I enjoyed this! As you will read, my perfectionism took over! LOL
Had to try this one more time. I'm still not 100% happy with it but I won't give up. I'll keep trying to improve as I go along. My 9 year old great-niece is having a brain surgery next week and I am sending her THIS CARD. Here's the inside of it.
