1) You need to clear your calendar for our Mini VSBN on Saturday, October 23: challenges will be posted starting at 6PM and ending at Midnight EST
2) Know that the length of a challenge has changed from previous VSBN's. All challenges are now 3 hours long; hopefully you will be able to complete about 3 pages in this time frame (this is an average, some are quicker & some are slower)
3) Please read the bottom of the challenge when it is posted for Contest Participation Rules, they've been updated
4) You should not need anything more than Scrapbooking Stash: PICTURES!, a variety of paper & cardstock, scissors, paper trimmer, adhesive, a few punches, some stickers, some colored pens/markers/pencils, a few stamps, some ribbon, some 'sparkly' stuff ~ if a challenge requires something more than what's on this list we will post it in this thread so be sure to subscribe or check back.
Midnight!!!!! I'm too old for late nights anymore! I envy those on the West Coast but 3 hours to do a page is pretty cool since I plan on doing traditional pages. (although I just checked out the DigiChick website...very cool! I've never seen that one before) Just got back 30 pictures that are fairly recent. Hopefully I'll be able to get DGS to go to bed by 8:30 that night.
Glad I don't live on the west coast. There is know way I could stay up that late. I am usually in the bed at the latest 10pm CST. I'm acutally going to a Shoebox swap in Brazoria, TX that day with alot of other SCS's. I'm really exciting because it's my first one. But I will be back in time to check in with you girls at 7pmCST. Will all 3 challenges be posted then?? Or are they staggered??

The challenges are posted individually for chatting at the times listed, EST (not sure what the time difference is...). However, there will be a Master Thread started that will have the challenges listed.

I've got customers who are in Pearland TX and they are 1 hour behind me so if you are in that time zone, then the challenges will be up for you at 5 p.m., 8 p.m. and 11 p.m. so you'll only miss the beginning challenge and be in time for the next 2! Hope to see you here!
I am Central Time, but I won't be home from work until 7 pm. I will miss a big chunk of the first challenge.
Oh well missing 2 hours is better than missing the whole thing!
Well I may be able to join in later...as Sunday or Monday, but this Saturday is already double booked! My sister and I have tickets to go to the flea market in Nashville at the state fair grounds. It is a bus trip sponsored by our bank. THEN I told my mil that I would take her to her granddaughter's baby shower! OUCH! That's what I get for not writing things in my calendar! Anyway, dd is taking mil to baby shower! But I'd better not commit to being here to...triple booking is NOT permitted! Hope you have a great evening and LOTS of participants!

It looks great in here ladies....nice and white and fluffy...very soft and soothing ;) I think I even saw the Philly Cream Cheese guy...lol!!!
K, off to make a quick trip to the gallery before I turn into a pumpkin...5 a.m. comes waaaaaaaay to quickly!!!!!
P.S. The new 3 hour time limit is gonna be a fav of mine!!!! I much prefer to take my time and enjoy...plus now I'll feel like I can take some chat time while I'm mulling over my next step!!! GREAT idea ladies!!!!

Terry your right, teehee. I added an hour instead of subtracting. Thanks for letting me know! Hopefully I will be home from my card swap and not exhausted to at least do one challenge.

Hi Sharon, I'm so glad you are going to join us on Cloud 9! to answer your questions - no you do not have to do three pages for each challenge. In the past, I think you had 1 hour to complete a page for a challenge and now there are 3 hours between each challenge so based on the past rules you could get 3 pages done but not expected to. For the digi challenge, you do not have to use a specific vendors items.

Boy, I hope not! Usually it's one page per every 2 hours but they've changed the length of time between challenges for this mini VSBN so I thought it was 3 pages total for the entire evening. But one of the ladies "in the know" will verify that for us.
What a bummer...my SIL invited us to a cookout and a campfire for marshmellows afterwards tomorrow evening starting around 5 EST. Didn't realize until just now that the VSBN starts at 6! I've had this on my calendar for quite a while and totally forgot when she asked last night! And DGS since loves campfires and marshmellows, I just said OK without remembering...this old age thing is the PITS! So I'll be here but not for the 6 p.m. challenge. :(
Terry, I'd take campfires and marshmellows (especially if it was smores) over VSBN. You can do the challenges later but only that one chance for that night. Enjoy and have a smore for me!
patti, i've checked my list too and got everything except a space to work. My craft table is a disaster because of all the swaps I've been working on. :(

Each challenge will have a thread in this forum and there will also be a thread listing all the challenges as they are posted. I'll post a link here and on the stalking thread when mine is up.
Well shoot! I was hoping to play a bit tonight to get ready for Nov's VSBN. I have never participated before and wanted to get my feet wet, so to speak, with a mini VSBN. But alas we are having carpet installed early Monday morning and have started clearing out the bedrooms and closets. Lots going into my craft room, it is already getting hard to reach my stash so I know I would get very frustrated tonight if I tried to play along. I will just lurk, see what you all are doing and leave a little love. Oh yes the dgk's will be here over night too.

Oh yes....I JUST went through this for new carpet in our Family Room, Living Room and hall...ugh! It was definitely interesting trying to find spots to put the furniture and electronics ... ;) So nice when it's done though....
