I so wanted to play every day and chat but with my DGS B-day party on Saturday, I'll have to restrain myself from looking! Don't want lots of little 6 yo fingers possibly messing up my computer since it's got all the digi stuff on it! And I won't be able to find any paper stuff since I have to hide it all in an upstairs room until after the party is over! LOL! I'll have to check in Friday and Sunday! Will we be allowed to post on Sunday at all?

Ok....seriously....you gonna share the scoop on how you got such a tropical photo of yourself.....it looks soooo good!!! Did you use a tripod? Did you crop it after....spill it chickita!!!
Well....the "secret" is....I stood next to my wildflower patch, held the camera at "arms length" and started snapping, hahahaha! What you didn't see was all the other "versions" of this photo that just didn't work ... time of evening was good too, the sun was setting so lighting was nice for these picts :cool:

Looking forward to playing and chatting as much as I can around family happenings!
Love the idea of doing some challenges with us incorporated...
All you girls look great in your avatars...Trish, Lela, Cobi, Kirsten. Love that tall flower...what is it? sun or shade loving? I'm working on a big Wild/Weed garden in one area of my yard...envisioning lots of poppies, forget-me-nots, and daisies...but love the colour and height of that one! [unless you were kneeling down haha]
Cobi, new room in a new house? or a new designated space?
Can't wait for the weekend! Off to pull out some photos and read the List!

Just a quick note this morning as the week head's towards VSBN, I saw in my paper this weekend that Walgreens is giving a free 8x10 collage photo tomorrow for free and they have by 25 prints, get 25 prints free (works out to 9.5 cents each). You can use the 25 free print code all week up to 5 times. The collage is only tomorrow with the coupon which I bet will be available online tomorrow if you don't have the flyer coupon. I have a free gift coming from them as well so I'm going to order 2 collages tomorrow and then scrap around them.
I don't know the quality of the prints in your town, but I get most of my prints from WAGS these days if I don't print them individually. (plus I discovered I get 4% back through ebates). We don't have Costco here, so I use the in store pick up feature for Wags and have been basically satisfied.

We just had our 25 year class reunion, so I have my Grade 12 picture out, and grad pictures and some old albums were dusted off...
now I need to look for some 'where I live ones'. [You're right though we don't do enough on us...I did a layout for my oldest years ago of where we lived when she was born, the car we drove etc...] I'm looking forward to the guidelines of that challenge.
and I took some photos recently of my every morning latte with the machine, thanks to prompts from Stacy Julian...so I need to get those printed now, sounds like!

Oh, wow! Rebekah Doak just commented on my blog with a heads up about this awesome sounding weekend! I've never played before but I've been doing a lot of "me" pages lately!! I am so excited to play!!!! Yea!

This is good to know. I need to find out how to save my digi pages before sending them to print and I don't belong to a Costco any more. I used CVS for some free regular prints a while back and they were OK but I need to find a tutorial on saving the digi pages and then sending them out and thought I might try Walgreens. I liked Wendy's idea of making 8x8 sizes and then adding them to 12x12 paper so quite a few have been 8x8 or 8 1/2 x 11.
