I'd really like to join in tonight but only as a spectator. Next month I may bean active participant. Am I too late to get into tonights Virtual crop???
Popping in and out is totally acceptable... that's the beauty of participating here. We understand that life gets in the way sometime, so we participate when we can and sometimes just observe when we can. The challenges will be posted later (6:30 Eastern time) and you can decide if you have time/want to participate. They are typically not due for a week anyway. "Leap" in when you can!

Lol! Val cute way to answer! There will be a Master Thread and you can participate when every your schedule allows. There is a 'live' chat/play thread for those that can make it...the choice is yours :-) Either way we hope you can come 'play' whether live or not!
You don't actually need to "log in" anywhere - it's not like a web meeting or face-time chat or anything like that, it's just a big group of ladies all over the world playing in their own craft rooms, chatting in the threads, and scrapping like crazy!
You basically can chat with others in the threads, scrap your page, upload a pic of it to the proper gallery when it's complete, and post a link in the challenge thread to your completed page. If you just want to observe, you can click the links and view pages people have uploaded and chat about them, leave comments for them, etc.
I really hope I can play tonight, as I have not scrapped a darn thing this year and I am expecting my first child in April, so I HAVE TO finish the (nearly 10-year old) wedding album so it is not looming over my head when Zane gets here and I want to make cute baby pages!
Last VSBN, I got 9 wedding pages done and was SO happy about my progress... here's hoping I can jump back in and finish it up!

Hey Ladies!!! I'm looking forward to hosting our first challenge tonight. Just about an hour from now. I must go pick up my daughter from Faith Formation...when I get home I'll be locking the door!
may not be able to check in here tonight... my boys have AWANA and I typically run errands or hang around. I do have the challenges done so I'm hoping to share tomorrow. In the meantime, happy scrapping and Happy Leap Year!

Not sure what you mean but if you go to the Virtual Scrapbook Night Thread (front page, right side, bottom of the list) you will see two challenges. Or you can go four posts from this one (#53) and click on the HERE to take you to the first challenge.
yahoo! i made it back just in time... its been a loooooong while since ive been chatty. and no promises to stick around regularly like before, but here's to hoping i can be around more often! i can't participate tonight but i will definitely be back for this miniVSBN. i've really missed scrapping and you guys!!!

Thanks! We are so thrilled, excited, and terrified! LOL! I cannot wait to get all the cute monster and dinosaur SU! sets and stamp some boy pages. I have two nieces, so I have been playing with cute, flowery pink stuff for three years and I'm ready for some trucks and dirt!
I love playing with the trucks and dirt! If you're into the My Digital Studio, be sure to get the On the Go download that just came out the other week. That's what I used on the scooter page and oh my goodness, there are some adorable elements in that kit along with really cute papers!
When I was due to have our first baby I was terrified and excited too. Every morning I would wake up (starting about 2 weeks before my due date) and think, "This is it, today's the day I will be a mommy!" And every night I would go to bed thinking, "Whew, thank God it wasn't today! I'm not ready yet!!" She ended up being two weeks overdue, and I'm not sure I was even ready for her then! LOL

Lucky you! I just went to Etc. for the first time on Wednesday. Quite a store. I've been to The Barn 2 or 3 times--my SU demo lives near there, so I stop by after workshops. Demo went back to a full-time job at Intel, though, so she doesn't have many workshops anymore. :( In a way it's OK, 'cause I save a lot of $$ and I already own tons of stuff!

It's horrible.being this close to everything!! I'm teething to be good though. Ever shop the .com??? It's great! You pick up your items and they usually have a few little items to choose from and you get one gift being a local malin the effort of picking up your order. I'm goiing to be using the last goodie for the wedding layout I started a few days ago.

Although I didn't get to participate in the leap day challenge, I'm looking forward to participating in the main VSN challenge.
Same here! A friend got me trying the virtual stamping weekend and I had a great time. I didn't post anything, but I learned a lot. Now I'm looking forward to the scrapbooking weekend and I'm going to invite my friends!

okay hopefully I can remember to get here this weekend. Havent been on SCS in awhile and need to get some scrapping time in. So I will get all chores done by Friday so I can play!
Just checking to see if there was anything needed on the supplies list. We're heading out of town, so it's the only chance I get to pick up crafting supplies- Looking forward to trying out the virtual thing this weekend!

I will partake in at least one of the challenges tonight! Don't know if I can do both, but maybe I can make up the second challenge tomorrow. And I won't be able to participate Friday night due to a prior commitment. But hope to partake the rest of the weekend. I'm excited also! I got a couple of new stamp sets from Close to My Heart and I can't wait to use them!
