I have most of my page done-just trying to figure out how to add some other pics to conform with one of Sally's sketches. I'll be around for a while yet.
Yay Terri! Good for you! I found a sketch that's working well for the picts I'm scrapping and it's coming together good ... gotta love that when it happens

I'm usually a night owl, but I've been up past midnight for the last two nights with early mornings the next day. I don't how much longer I'll be here. I'm working on swaps though so I'll be a little while longer. I waited until the last minute to do them and now they are due next weekend. yikes! My poor poor cricut is tired!
I'm usually up until midnight most nights. I have to force myself to try to go to bed around 10. LOL!

I think you can use as many picts as you'd like to and no sketch for this one.

Yup! There's no photo requirements and there wasn't a sketch either. More of an theme & elements challenge. ;)

Well, I have my picts on my layout and now I just need to add the embellishments and title! I'm traveling for work this week so if I don't get it done tonight I was worried I wouldn't get it finished .... SO GLAD it came together well.

Michele you are always so busy with swaps! You must really like them? Every once in awhile I succumb but I just never used the pages I got back in the swap once I swapped, LOL! I ended up donating them during the VSBN we sent them to the lady doing pages for another. ;)
I finally just stopped signing up, I always waited and then had to stress too
I've cut myself off from swaps after these are done because I have so many I need to use. Once I've put a dent in that stash, I'll probably be back for more. I am going to give some to a scrapping friend that was diagnosed with cancer in the spring and has had a really hard time with treatments the last six months. She is supposed to be going to my retreat in a few weeks though. The other coordinator and I are going to ask people to pre-decorate a page or two for her.
Now if i could figure out how to upload into these replies i'd be a happy
Your layout is funny! I love the shirt and dress; however, my DH has told me he wouldn't be caught dead in a look alike outfit! He's got such wierd quirks sometimes! lol
G'night and thanks for all the comments everybody. I don't usually scrap with other people or show my work so this is new for me. It's kind of overwhelming :S
Hi! On your "Gull Harbour Island" layout, I didn't see the Keyword OCT10VSBNB on it so it's not going to show up in the gallery set aside for that challenge. You can go back in and edit the photo to add the keyword. That way everyone can see it that looks for the gallery. It's a beautiful layout. I found it by going directly to your gallery though.
LMN, those are such wonderful pictures, and I like the way you layed them out!
Well, I am home from church, thru w/dinner, and kind of did dishes. So, now I will work on this. I already have the pictures picked out!
Nicole, thank you for the challenge! It inpired me to scrap!! And I am really pleased with the outcome. Your requirements really inspired this page. And when I went to look for an owl stamp-he was holding a heart! How cool was that! Anyway here is my Owl Eyes.
I also used three or 4 different writing. I used big sticker letters for the title and a chipboard word for the title. Then in the journaling, I used one font for the numbers and another for the actual journalig.
Thanks for hostessing. I will be at a women's church retreat for the main event, but will try to take part on Sunday. This is great, I can't believe I am getting some long past due scrapbooking done1
